Homework

Read either the Constitution or the Constitution Made Easy (in the back of your digital or printed workbook). This week we will read Amendments 11- 27. In the Constitution Made Easy, that is pages 45-63. There is a free downloadable copy of the Constitution at the Patriot’s Hope Historical Documents Library.
Alternate Assignment (in case you have done the above assignment lately):
Get three pieces of paper. Label them with Legislative (Congress), Executive (President), and Judicial (Supreme Court)- one label per page. Now, read the same section of the Constitution as the above assignment. List EVERY thing each jurisdiction can or cannot do. Keep those pages as you will use them for future assignments as well.
Same assignment- different option. Grab your copy of the Constitution and highlight what it says about each branch of government in a different color. For example, label Legislative in yellow, Executive in red, and Judicial in blue.
Bonus FOR FUN homework
Complete the Biblical Citizenship Word Scramble.
I’ll give you one Happy Ticket for each word search you complete. Just tell me that you completed the puzzle (no need to send a picture)- this is on the honor system.
