Thanksgiving

“In such a state of things it is, in an especial manner, our duty as people, with devout reverence and affectionate gratitude, to acknowledge our many and great obligations to Almighty God and to implore Him to continue and confirm the blessings we experience.”

-President George Washington, January 1, 1795

Today we offer our thanks to God for the countless blessings He has heaped upon us. He has blessed our family and our nation in more ways than we can count. May we spend today in thanks to Him. We would like to also thank you for being part of Patriot’s Hope!  Whether you have been part of the classes we have hosted, a reader of the blog articles and resources on this site, or a visitor to the recently launched store, you are an integral part of making this site work – and we thank you so much for that!

We wish you and your family a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving holiday. Today, we remember the immense blessings of Almighty God upon our land. Even as we seek to remind Americans of our Constitution and excellent form of government, we are very aware that apart from the saving work of God’s hand on our nation, our condition is hopeless. So, once again, we want to thank God for all He has done for our great nation down through the generations and ask Him once again to save our dear land. He is indeed the only Hope for this country, and for the world.

Happy Thanksgiving from Patriot’s Hope!

Sincerely,

The Southerland Family

P.S. You can see President Washington’s Proclamation in its entirety, as well as other Presidential proclamations of Thanksgiving on the Wallbuilders website here. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
