Freedom’s Frame

Rick Green explains the 4 sides to a frame (4 frameworks) that America was built upon. Taking principles from the Declaration of Independence, Rick explains why this framework still applies today and the importance of preserving it.

W. Cleon Skousen. Dig deeper and explore 28 principles that form the basis of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. Each principle is described in a short but powerful chapter. This is an important book.

Patriot U

Patriot Academy’s online streaming and app that has all of the classes, The Tavern, Comedy and the Constitution, Chasing American Legends, and so much more. This is a paid service, but the cost is low and the content is more than worth it.

OLL- Online Library of Liberty

Liberty Fund is a publishing company that specializes in reprints of old historical books and documents. It is an incredible source for old books about our history. The books are very reasonable and the periodically have sales. OLL is their online library of many of the reprints that you can read for free.

Assignment- Declaration of Independence

Read the Declaration of Independence. If you need a copy, you can download a free pdf here: Patriot’s Hope Historical Document Library Pay close attention to the grievances. Do you think the grievances listed are reasonable? Do any of the grievances apply to America today and if they do, in what way?

After you read the Declaration and think about the grievances, go check out this article by Coach Craig Seibert. You don’t want to miss this one! Modern Grievances and Abuses. Then check out his website. Tons of AMAZING information.

Bonus assignment- Ronald Reagan’s Farewell Address

Watch or Read Ronald Reagan’s Farewell Address to the Nation. List several things that stood out to you.

Bonus assignment- Calvin Coolidge Speech
