There is a free digital copy of the Constitution Alive Workbook included with your registration for class.. The Constitution Made Easy is in the back of the workbook. To access it, please follow these directions.

U.S. Constitution Escape Room

We did this mini Constitution Escape Room for Constitution Day one year. It’s print and go, not a lot of prep involved. We had a younger child participating with us, so we pair up in teams and it worked well.

The Federalist Papers: Large Print Unabridged 1787 Original Version

The Federalist Papers: Large Print Unabridged 1787 Original Version by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, John Jay. Many copies of the Federalist Papers have microscopic text… not this one! This is my go-to version. It is formatted well and the type is easy to read.

6-week course Homework- The Amendment Process & Duty of Citizens

1. Go to Constitution Facts and spend 15 minutes taking quizzes. Tell me five things you learned. Constitution Facts Quizzes

2. Go through Article 3 of the Constitution and note each power that Congress has over the Supreme Court. If you need a copy of the Constitution, visit the Patriot’s Hope Historical Document Library.

10-week course Homework- Article II- The President

1. In preparation for next weeks lesson on the Courts, please go read Article 3 and Amendments 5, 6, 7, and 8 of the Constitution. If you need a copy of the Constitution, visit the Patriot’s Hope Historical Document Library.

2. Go through Article 3 of the Constitution and note each power that Congress is given over the Supreme Court. If you need a copy of the Constitution, visit the Patriot’s Hope Historical Document Library.

    *3. What are the differences between a mandate, an ordinance, a decree, a request, an order, a requirement, and a law?

    4. Go to Constitution Facts and spend 15 minutes taking quizzes. Tell me five things you learned.

      5. Read the Declaration of Independence again. If you choose to do this second part of the assignment, it will be a multi-week assignment. Create two columns and label them Grievance and Constitution. Write out each of the 27 Grievances. Then find where it is addressed in the Constitution.
      For example
      Grievance- Quartering soldiers in civilian homes
      Constitution- Bill of Rights, Amendment 3
